Youth Festival 2010, 21-25 August, Sastra University Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu

YOUTH AFFAIRS DIVISION organises Inter-University youth programmes pertaining to promotion of human values, culture, personality development, national integration and international understanding. It holds Inter-University Youth Festivals (UNIFESTS) at the zonal and national levels comprising 24 competitive cultural events in the domain of music, dance, theater, literary activities and fine arts. Over 4000 university youth artistes from the nationwide universities participate in the UNIFESTS annually and exhibit their talents. These meets also provide the youth an opportunity for a healthy interaction thereby instilling in them an awareness of our historical and cultural heritage.
This Year we are happy to inform you that SASTRA University will be organizing the “Inter University South Zone Youth Festival 2010 between August 21-25,  2010. On behalf of SASTRA & Association of Indian Universities (AIU), I cordially invite your University to participate in this cultural carnival. This festival is organized in collaboration with AIU and is financed by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt. of India.
